Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Pet's Palace collects when you visit or buy from this store, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to customers in the United States.

Who we are

Pet's Palace is a trade name of Elderenbos Media, Mauritslaan 49, 6129 EL Urmond, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 67636659. Elderenbos Media is the business responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at support@pets-palace.org.

1. Information we collect

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, shipping and billing address, email address.
  • Order and transaction information: what you bought, order value, order history, returns.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment providers. We receive a confirmation and the last digits and card type, never your full card number.
  • Content you upload: photos, names and text you provide for personalized products.
  • Communications: emails you send us and our replies.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and similar information collected through cookies and comparable technologies.

We collect this information from you directly, automatically as you use the store, and from service providers such as our ecommerce platform, payment providers and advertising partners.

2. How we use your information

  • To process, produce, ship and support your order.
  • To communicate with you about your order and answer your questions.
  • To handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
  • To prevent fraud and secure the store.
  • To measure how the store performs and to improve it.
  • To market to you, including advertising on other websites and, if you signed up, email marketing. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who need it to do their job for us:

  • Our ecommerce platform, which hosts this store and processes orders.
  • Payment providers, who process your payment.
  • Fulfillment partners and shipping carriers, who produce and deliver your order.
  • Email and customer service tools we use to reply to you.
  • Analytics and advertising partners, including Google, which help us measure and target our advertising.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it, and a buyer or successor if our business is sold.

4. Cookies, tracking and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, to remember your preferences, to measure traffic and to advertise. Some of that advertising activity may count as "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time, see section 6.

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice data for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support conversations are kept while they are useful to help you, and marketing data until you unsubscribe. After that we delete or anonymize it.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose about you, and get a copy of it.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you, with the exceptions the law allows, such as completing your order or meeting a legal obligation.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right.
  • Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights. You will get the same prices and the same service either way.

How to use these rights: email support@pets-palace.org with "Privacy request" in the subject line and tell us what you want. To opt out of sale or sharing, email us with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need up to 45 more.

You can use an authorized agent to make a request. We will ask the agent for proof that you gave permission, and we may ask you to confirm it directly.

To protect you, we verify requests by matching the details you give us against what we already hold, usually your email address and recent order information.

7. Rights in other states

Residents of states with comparable privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, have similar rights to access, correct, delete and port their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Use the same email address above. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within the time your state's law allows.

8. Children

This store is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Where your information is processed

We are a European business, so your personal information is processed both in the United States and in the European Union. Wherever it goes, it is protected by contracts with our service providers and by the safeguards described in this policy.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Changes

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top always tells you when it was last revised.
